Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are getting a divorce with no prenup. Now what?
I guess when you're a celebrity couple, your relationship business inevitably becomes public. New headlines now surfaced about a divorce between Batman and Jenny from the Block. Here are some facts we gathered for those interested.
They were supposed to get married in 2003.
They spontaneously eloped in Las Vegas, 2022.
"Without the premarital agreement in place, any income or property accrued during their marriage can be considered “community property” — meaning both spouses can be viewed as equal owners of property, income or debt regardless of who purchased or earned it." - page six.
During their marriage: Batman and Jenny from the Block supposedly purchased a $60 million Beverly Hills mansion that they put on the market for $68 million.
"Ben Affleck has a reported net worth of $150 million."
"Jennifer Lopez is reportedly worth more than $400 million."
It's not clear how much each of them have earned respectfully in their two years of marriage, but this marks J-Lo's fourth divorce, to Affleck's second, sources say.
NBC says "If Lopez and Affleck have any projects in the works now, or even hatched a concept during these past two years of matrimony, that could be on the table with no prenup or other agreement stipulating who gets what."
We just wish them a private and happy future with their families. We don’t have to speculate about J-Lo’s Ex: A-Rod & his subliminal social media posts, but you can do your own googles.
It’s 2024, what do you expect? This concludes our celebrity drama segment of the day/summer.
